Haroon Shaikh articulated his journey from the initial complications he faced when he landed to USA to stereotypes he faced in the corporate culture and how everything is worth it in the end.

With little more than a good idea, entrepreneurial spirit and a commitment to hard work, Haroon Shaikh, CPA who previously worked in managerial positions both at Deloitte and KPMG, founded H.R. Shaikh & Company in 1982. He brought on Farrukh Seyar in 1993, and the two continued to add professionals with high-level industry experience and demonstrated commitment to excellent service. The Firm continued its growth and changed its name from H.R Shaikh & Company to H.R. Shaikh, Seyar, LLP in 1999, and finally to HRSS, LLP in 2011.

Today, HRSS is one of the Houston’s fastest growing audit, accounting, tax and advisory firm. Houston Business Journal has ranked HRSS among the top 25 CPA firms for the past several years.
